Photos: Blue Ivy Magical Birthday Party

The world-famous pop star held a lavish, fairy-inspired blowout for her daughter Blue Ivy's 4th birthday earlier this year. The newly released photos show a sprawling green lawn covered in couches and teepees, a kid-friendly bow and arrow station and a pair of actresses suited up as fairies.



And of course the guest of honor was dressed for the occasion, showing off a magenta dress, silver tiara and fairy wings.The extravagant event took place in January. Beyoncé decided to welcome fans inside the special day by sharing a series of photos from the party on her website Wednesday.

It's not the first time Beyoncé opened the window into her relationship with her daughter this month. In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the "Formation" singer revealed that being a mother has made her even more intent on making the world a better place.
"Just like any mother, I just want my child to be happy and healthy and have the opportunity to realize her dreams," she told the magazine.

In addition to being busy as a parent and a musician, Beyoncé is set to launch a new line of athletic wear on Today. The "Flawless" artist teamed up with British businessman Sir Philip Green for the Ivy Park line, which features more than 200 items and will be available at Nordstrom, Top Shop and online at Net-A-Porter.com
